Claude Launches 8 Creative Tool Connectors: Blender, Adobe CC, Autodesk & More
Anthropic has launched eight MCP-based connectors for Claude targeting the creative-professional stack: Blender (scene analysis, batch scripting, custom tool injection via its Python API), Autodesk Fusion (conversational 3D model creation), Adobe Creative Cloud (multi-step workflows across Photoshop, Illustrator, Firefly, Premiere), Ableton, Splice, SketchUp, Resolume, and Canva Affinity. Anthropic has also joined the Blender Development Fund as a patron. Because the connectors are MCP-built, they are compatible with any MCP-capable model — not Claude exclusively.
Why It Matters
The largest single-day expansion of Claude's creative-tool surface makes agentic creative workflows viable for designers, engineers, and musicians. The MCP protocol layer means this connector surface compounds for the entire AI ecosystem, not just Anthropic.
