Claude Security Enters Public Beta for Enterprise Users

Anthropic opened Claude Security—previously called Claude Code Security—to Enterprise customers in public beta today. Built on Opus 4.7, the tool scans production codebases, validates each finding to reduce false positives, and suggests patches for review. Since February's research preview, hundreds of organizations have used it to catch vulnerabilities that existing scanners missed. New features added based on feedback include scheduled scans, directory-level targeting, CSV and Markdown exports, webhook notifications, and persistent dismissals across scan runs.

Why It Matters

Claude Security signals Anthropic's expansion from productivity into the enterprise DevSecOps toolchain—a market dominated by Snyk, Semgrep, and SonarQube. No API integration or custom agent build is required, making it an unusually low-friction entry point for security teams.
