HeyGen Releases HyperFrames: Agent-Native HTML-to-Video Framework
HeyGen has open-sourced HyperFrames — a framework that renders HTML compositions into video files using Puppeteer and FFmpeg with deterministic output (same input, same video). Composition uses standard HTML with data-* attributes; animation runtimes include GSAP, Lottie, and WebGL/Three.js via a pluggable Frame Adapter pattern. Ships with native skills registered for Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and Codex as slash commands. License: Apache 2.0. Requires Node.js 22+.
Why It Matters
HyperFrames positions HTML — the universal interface language — as the composition layer for programmatic video, making video generation natively callable from any AI coding agent without proprietary DSLs.
