NVIDIA Cosmos 3 Tops 7 Physical AI Leaderboards
NVIDIA has released Cosmos 3, an open-source physical AI foundation model taking the top position across 7 leaderboards: Artificial Analysis, PAI-Bench, Physics-IQ, and R-Bench for world generation; RoboLab for robot action policy; and VANTAGE-Bench and TAR for industrial vision. The model processes text, image, video, audio, and action inputs, predicting video and actions for robotics and autonomous driving simulation. Super (~130GB) and Nano (~35GB) variants are open-weighted on Hugging Face.
Why It Matters
NVIDIA simultaneously releasing Nemotron 3 Ultra, Cosmos 3, and a companion agentic safety dataset in the same week represents the most concentrated open-model push from a single hardware vendor to date — covering language, physical AI, and safety evaluation in one coordinated drop.
